Fat dissolving injection

This non-invasive procedure is designed to specifically address and target stubborn fat deposits on your face or body. Treatments with fat dissolving injections are only advisable for small, localised areas.

Aqualyx is injected into target areas and works by breaking down the cell membrane to liquify fat cells and destroy them permanently. The lipids are then eliminated naturally through the body’s lymphatic draining system.

The Lemon Bottle solution is injected directly into the fatty tissue, where it creates fat decomposition by accelerating metabolism of fat cells.

Aqualyx: Patients may experience some discomfort and swelling post-treatment.

Fat dissolving is not suitable if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Have diabetes.
• Have liver or kidney disease.
• Have an active skin problem in the area to be treated.

Aftercare

• Drink a minimum of 2 litres of water a day for at least 1 week post treatment.
• After 48 hours, massage the area daily for 5 – 10 minutes.
• Do not apply make-up or skincare to the treated area for 12 hours.
• Avoid extreme temperatures (saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds) for 3 days.
• Avoid heavy exercise for 7 days.

Common side effects:

• Red, tight and itchy skin.
• Swelling and bruising.
• The treated area may feel tender and firm after your treatment.
